Fifteen players,
one sound

Led by trumpet player Natanael Ramos, the Atlantic Jazz Lab Orchestra takes the music of the great jazz masters —Ellington, Basie, Sinatra, Ella— to every one of the Canary Islands and to mainland Spain, season after season. Made up of fifteen of the most respected players in the country, they have performed alongside pianist Peter Beets, trumpeter Chris Kase and singer Esther van Hees.

Intimate
and close

Five players a metre from the audience, under the artistic direction of Natanael Ramos. The ensemble plays Miles Davis, Art Blakey and his Jazz Messengers, Ray Charles and Ella Fitzgerald with the detail and closeness the music asks for. It has played Tenerife, La Palma, La Gomera, Gran Canaria and the Canarias Jazz&Más festival.

Where it all
gets made

A recording studio and rehearsal room in La Orotava: 45 m² of acoustically treated space, a 32-channel desk and our own backline. Rented by the hour or by the day, with or without an engineer. The backline and the PA can also be hired separately, for concerts and recordings away from the studio.
